Training Services

Wyle Laboratories provides training and associated support to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and NASA. Wyle’s subject matter experts develop and conduct training for aviators, flight crews, astronauts, technicians, scientists and other professionals. The company’s knowledgeable cadre of trainers and subject matter experts includes employees such as Jerry Gallagher, test pilot and instructor at the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and one of most respected authorities on out of control flight in the world.

Wyle’s instructors, curricula and coursework developers support customers in developing and conducting test pilot training and instructor support, flight curricula development and aircrew training for the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and qualification and theatre battle management training for the Air Force’s Air and Space Operations Center (AOC).

Wyle provides a full range of coursework and instruction services for the Air and Space Operations Center (AOC) Formal Training Unit (FTU) Initial Qualification Training (IQT). These services include supporting the AOC operator courses on airspace for AOC duty, operations, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance technicians; AOC interface control courses for interface control officers and interface control technicians as well as systems administration, networks and joint air tasking order processes training.

Wyle also provides the Air and Space Operations Center with theater battle management core systems training, exercise support and courseware development for management and professional services; studies, analyses and evaluation; engineering and technical services and courseware development.

In addition, Wyle provides Information Assurance (IA) training and certification tests in Lexington Park, Md. office through the Ultimate Knowledge Institute. The DoD 8570.01-M (Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program) directive states that individuals providing Information Assurance functions (development, operation, management, and enforcement of security capabilities for systems and networks) are required to have the certifications.
