Managed Services and Seat Management

As a Managed Services Provider (MSP) specializing in seat management and IT security, Wyle Information Systems can help ensure efficient and effective information infrastructure mission support, providing fully outsourced management of networks, IP telephony, messaging and call centers, virtual private networks (VPNs), Web hosting, video networking, and other important IT services. On the security side, Wyle helps customers comply with regulations such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Wyle works cooperatively with managed service customers to define Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics assuring accountability for meeting exceptional quality standards. Efforts on a $65 million contract for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), supporting the agency’s transition to a performance-based environment resulted in a performance rating of 95.3 percent—the highest performance rating ever received by a DARPA contractor, to that point. Wyle Information Systems also provides managed services for desktop hardware and software on the Department of Energy’s $409 million Information Technology Integrator Support Services (ITISS) contract. These services are measured and monitored through approximately 600 SLAs.
